Four-item noodle stall at Netil Market; second pitch at Between The Bridges. WATCH: SEN NOODS NETIL LTD dissolved 2026-02-17 and no FSA record at the market; re-check 2026-09-01

Jeff's note

Sen Noods

Four things on the menu, noodles made that morning, and two people who decided that was enough.

Why go

Sen Noods runs two pitches: this one at Netil Market on Westgate Street, and a truck at Between The Bridges on Belvedere Road (Sen Noods). Andi Oliver named them when Condé Nast Traveller asked her where she eats in London, and what she picked out was the discipline: "they are passionate about doing one thing really, really well. They make them fresh and they make the most gorgeous broths. There's you just four things on the menu." Her visit was to the Southbank truck rather than to this stall, which is worth knowing before you treat it as a verdict on Netil Market. Check before you go: the company registered at Netil House under this name was wound up in February 2026, and the food hygiene register has no record of the stall.

Order this / avoid

  • Order: whatever bowl is on. There are about four, they are all noodles, and the broth is the part a chef went out of her way to praise.
  • Avoid: walking to Westgate Street without checking they are trading. Expecting a long menu. Assuming this is the Southbank pitch, which is a separate site.

What locals & experts say

  • Andi Oliver, chef and broadcaster, in Condé Nast Traveller's Where the Chefs Eat, speaking about their Southbank pitch: "they exemplify what I love most about the London food scene, they are passionate about doing one thing really, really well. They make them fresh and they make the most gorgeous broths. There's you just four things on the menu." ref
  • Nothing has been written about the Netil Market stall specifically. The one endorsement in the record belongs to the other pitch and is labeled as such rather than borrowed.
  • The master row's description is unsourced. It calls this an "authentically inauthentic" noodle stall, with the phrase in quotation marks as though someone said it. No source read for this entry contains it, so it is not repeated here.

Good to know

  • Check first. The company registered at Netil House under this name, SEN NOODS NETIL LTD, was dissolved on 17 February 2026. The parent company is active and the business holds a current food hygiene registration at a unit in Leyton, so the operation is alive. What is unresolved is whether this pitch is still there, and this entry will be re-checked on 1 September 2026.
  • Where: Netil Market, 13-23 Westgate Street, E8 3RL, by London Fields. The other pitch is Between The Bridges on Belvedere Road, SE1 8XX.
  • Format: a market stall. No bookings, market hours, and about four bowls on the board.
  • Hygiene: no FSA registration exists for the Netil Market stall. The registration under this trading name is at a business unit in Leyton, which reads as a prep kitchen and is a different premises, so no rating is shown for this pitch.
  • They also cater private events and pop-ups, arranged by email or by message.

Jeff's take (his words)

Nothing here is Jeff's. His saved-places export carries an empty Note for Sen Noods, so jeff_note stays empty. The master row's quoted description matches nothing in any source read for this entry, and it is left out rather than passed on.

Verdict (Chef Jeff ladder)

could-visit — Four things on the menu, noodles made fresh, and two people doing one thing properly. Andi Oliver put it best when Conde Nast asked her where she eats: they are passionate about doing one thing really really well, and the broths are the reason. That is the register that gets a stall onto a list like this one. The complication is which stall. Her line is about their truck on the Southbank, not the Netil Market pitch this row describes, and it is carried here labeled rather than borrowed. And the Netil pitch itself has a question mark on it: the company registered at Netil House with this name was wound up on 17 February 2026, and the food hygiene register has no record of Sen Noods at that market. The parent company is active and the business holds a current registration at a Leyton unit, so this is not a closure. It is a reason to check before you walk to Westgate Street.

Order

  • Whatever bowl is on, since the menu runs to about four things and they are all noodles
  • The broth, which is what a chef who eats there says the two of them are actually good at
  • Noodles made fresh rather than bought in

Good to know

  • Booking: no-bookings
  • Timing: lunch, weekends-only, get-there-early
  • Best for: lunch, quick, solo, cheap-eats
  • Avoid: Turning up without checking. The site-specific company behind this pitch was wound up in February 2026 and there is no hygiene registration for the stall; Expecting a long menu. Four things is the whole idea; Confusing this with the Southbank pitch at Between The Bridges, which is a different site

Sources & mentions

  1. [1]
Condé Nast Traveller, 'Where the Chefs Eat' (Andi Oliver, interviewed by Olivia Morelli)

16 May 2023. Type-1 industry evidence, and it is BRANCH-ATTRIBUTED: the chef-votes record's venue_as_printed field reads 'Sen Noods, Southbank', and her own words place it at the other pitch: 'It's run these two young guys in a truck on the Southbank, and they exemplify what I love most about the London food scene - they are passionate about doing one thing really, really well. They make them fresh and they make the most gorgeous broths. There's you just four things on the menu.' Under the multi-site rules a review of one site does not support another, so this is carried here explicitly labeled as being about the Between The Bridges pitch on Belvedere Road. It is used because it is the same two operators running the same four-item menu out of the same business, and because it is the only qualitative evidence that exists. It is NOT a verdict on the Netil stall

Sen Noods (venue site, locations page, read 1 August 2026)

First-party, and short. Under the heading 'OUR FIXED LOCATIONS' it lists two: 'Netil Market 13-23 Westgate Street London, UK E8 3RL' and 'Between The Bridges Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX'. It adds: 'We also do private catering events and pop-ups! Get in touch via email or send us a DM to see how we cater at your next event.' Contact is noodssen@gmail.com and Instagram @sen__noods. The page carries no date, so it cannot serve as a live trading signal on its own

  3. [3]
    Companies House

THE DECISIVE EVIDENCE, and it points both ways. SEN NOODS LTD, company number 13610991, incorporated 8 September 2021, status ACTIVE, registered at Flat 149 Berglen Court, Branch Road, London E14 7JY. SEN NOODS NETIL LTD, company number 15952558, registered at Studio 318 Netil House, 1 Westgate St, London E8 3RL, status DISSOLVED, dissolution date 17 February 2026. A site-specific company for the Netil pitch was wound up six months ago while the parent kept trading, which is what this row's watch records

  4. [4]
    FSA food hygiene register

There is NO registration for Sen Noods at Netil Market. A pull of address=Netil on 1 August 2026 returned four Netil Market traders (Mamma G Cookies, MOLO, Sugo82, World Famosu Gordos) and Sen Noods is not among them. What DOES exist under the trading name is FHRSID 1804593, Sen Noods, Unit 30 Leyton Business Centre, Etloe Road, Leyton E10 7BT, London Borough of Waltham Forest, rating 5, inspected 28 April 2025, with all three component scores returned null. That is a business unit rather than a market stall, so it reads as a prep or production kitchen. It is recorded here as evidence the BUSINESS is live and is NOT presented as a hygiene rating for this pitch. Queried via the register's open API with the x-api-version 2 header
